If it's a sealed battery, why does it need an acid pack? How could you add acid to a truly sealed batter? This looks like a rip-off to me. AutoZone is
still the best place to get a T battery IMHO.

This is what I asked: Is this a sealed bat, you do not have to add or check the water/acid level? Thank You

I wouldn't buy that battery. Yuasa web page lists YTZ14S as the correct maintenance free battery for the Tourer, and HYB16A-AB as the conventional battery.
If you google HYB16A-A you'll only find wet batteries. If it is a sealed battery, why does it need fluid level and an overflow tube?
motobatteries also sells YTZ14S. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Battery-YTZ14S-Honda-Shadow-ACE-Spirit-Aero-KTM-Benelli_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ35594QQihZ006QQitemZ160197778956QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVWQQtcZphoto I already purchase the YTZ14S from motobatteries and everything is working just fine. |

I'm with Pupule on this.
That looks exactly like a non-sealed battery. |

The one I bought off eBay is sealed. It's not "T" shaped, but it works just fine. Only cost 39 bucks.

Well I bought one,it is a "T" battery and it is maintance free, but to fit it in took some doing, with the rubber spacers romoved off the bat cage,it
still fit in REAL tight, now we will see how it holds up. I know it won't fall out, haha.

Did anyone notice it says it's a 18Ah battery?
I wonder what the CCA are. Voltage: 12V Capacity: 18 Ah Weight: 3.9 kg / 8.5 lbs Dimensions: (L x W x H) 151mm x 91mm x 180mm 6'' x 3.625'' x 7.0625'' ROD

I rechecked and this is what the add says; " You are bidding on a brand new HYB16A-A", not an 18Ah.

I know the add says "You are bidding on a brand new HYB16A-A " but down where it has the "item specifications" it says "Capacity: 18
Ah ". The add clearly says 18 Ah but i agree with you that that battery is only 16 Ah at most. I think its funny that when they make a "mistake"
its always a "mistake" that makes it(battery) look better, just once it would be nice to see them mess up the other way.
