HSATF Member Posts: 33 02/27/08 11:05 AM	I used a single horn, the low tone, from aerostitch.com. I also installed the relay. I used the bracket that came with the horn and put locktite on the threads. I can modify if this shakes loose after riding. I didn't add the second horn because I wanted an uncluttered look. If I see a slick install for both tones, I may add the other horn. But really, I don't want to sound obnoxious, I just wanted a better than stock unit. For the wiring from the relay to the battery and from the relay to the horn, I used 14 gauge copper wire from AutoZone. The crimp connectors and in-line 10 amp fuse I got from Radio Shack. You can get a nice relay connector from NAPA with the leads preinstalled, but I didn't use it. I may add it in the future because it eliminates you having to remember which leads connect to which spades on the relay. Lastly...the relay came with a grounding pigtail, but I made a new one using the larger gauge wire. I place the relay behind the steering head. I cut the existing horn wires (horn button and ground) behind the steering head and made connection to the relay there. I should have done this long ago. The stock horn is crap. I considered getting the Rivco electric horn because I think they have a good product, better mounting, and excellent customer service. In the end, I didn't want a chrome horn.

I went with the Rivco's, mounted the relay behind and under the original horn mount, and used 14 guage wire also. Here's what mine looks like.
