You don't need a trailer. (unless its for your dog than I understand, otherwise if you need a trailer your carrying way too much crap) especially for just 3 weeks
I have a new(ish) Kuryakyn full dresser bag that will be of no use to me once I get my new bike. I never used the bag but my friend used it once before I bought it from him.
Why do you want a trunk? If its to store your helmets while walking or to store ice\beer ok but if you require it for storage space than a tbag or other brand sissybar bag would be much much better for you. Also when its on the back seat it makes for a great back rest. Lean back, pop your legs on the crashbars (wrap a towel around the top for cushioning) and click your throttle rocker on and sit back and relax. Get some munchies in your tankbag and a can\bottle of soda\water\juice\e.t.c. and learn to turn with your ass muscle
