HSATF Member Posts: 6 02/27/08 12:43 AM	Tags : None Well, it's only taken me 10 years, but I finally bought my first 'T' - a gorgeous 1998 teal green and cream beauty from Tennessee. I found it on eBay, and it arrived in my Springfield, MO, garage today! That's the good news. The bad news is I'm out of the country, and have to wait five months to see it! Is there anyone in the SW Missouri area interested in riding in July and August? Jeff

HSATF Member Posts: 6 03/16/08 3:10 PM	Thanks for the welcome messages, guys! I appreciate them. I haven't had a chance to look at the forum for several weeks, as I'm pretty busy with two jobs and volunteer work. I also need to update my profile, as it says I'm 28 - I wish! I'm screaming toward 51, and the Tourer is my sixth bike. I'm Canadian, and live and work in Calgary, Alberta, visiting my Springfield, MO, family during Christmas and the summer. Long story - after 5 years in the US, I left for an overseas job, and Homeland Security seized my 'green card', so I'm no longer eligible for employment in the US. Now I live in Canada, as it's better than bankruptcy and losing the house where my wife and daughter live. I sold my last bike when I went to China to repair the roof, and after five years, it's nice to have another bike, even if I haven't seen it yet! Hope to keep in touch and maybe even ride with some of you fellows during the summer. I'll be in Springfield after July 12, and will be returning to Alberta the third week of August.
