I came across an article in (All Metric Road Bike) magazine April issue that I thought some of you might find interesting. On page 92 it discribes how putting
a 1/4'' bolt through the end of the tail pipe was worth 4hp on a Dyno. It says the bolt disrupts the reversion wave and enhances exhaust scavenging.
Just thought it might be of interest to some. I love to tweek and fiddle things.

I would have to see actual Dyno printouts and proof that no other mods were made before I'd believe it. Then again, I'm a cynical b-----d.

I fully understand Chicago, but I've seen much stranger things over the years. Check out the mag, it explains it much better than I did.
