I saw your earlier thread When you ( i forget the name of the saw blade on your drill) drilled the resonator out I wasn't sure it pulled the whole
resonator out or just the end sticking out. Also does it harm any part of the muffler welded inside the vary end.Last but not least how does it sound,Thank 4
your help!

a 2 1/8" bi metal hole saw. $12 or so at Lowe's. After cutting the resonator off even with the weld around it but not at the face of the muffler, you
can take the hole saw and place it around the weld and start drilling. Spray a little WD40 every so often and in a few minutes its all out. File around the
opening, spray a little high temp paint on it, replace the chrome tip and go for a ride. The resonator is welded half inside and half outside so doing this
operation removes the whole shabang. The result is a much deeper and a louder note but not annoying by any means. I really need to get it on video with a idle,
takeoff and driveby. From the seat, I love it. I am totally satisfied and if I ever want to repair the mod, I can just make a plate with a smaller hole to
quiet things down, but I dont think so.

Glad to help. Hope you enjoy. If you want a treat, go into a concrete parking deck and just listen to the rumble. You don't have to rev it, just drive
around. Its awesome.

BeauJames FTW!!!!!!! By far the best mod. one could do to stock exhaust! Great deep sound without being over powering on the highway. 10 min job with a
sawsall, hole saw and die grinder. This is such a good mod. I move for an instant sticky!! Thanks Beau!!

Sometimes you discover something that just works. When I did this on mine, I really didn't know how it would sound. Its a mod I learned for my previous
Shadow and said "what the heck" and just did it. I loved it so I just passed it along. Glad you like it.
