HSATF 1st Officer Posts: 1943 04/01/08 6:49 AM	Tags : None The wife and I got to talking, after I told her that Bob and Susan had sold their motorcycles and were preparing for a life on the road in an RV in the not to distant future. After some discussion, we have decided that maybe that is not such a bad idea. We already have a small motorhome that we can start in. I have put a lot into my retirement over the last several years. If we sell the bike/trikes and start the process now, down size our lifestyle, and get rid of a bunch of stuff that nobody needs anyway, I will be able to fully retire in four years. Completey debt free and with plenty of income to see us through. So. That being the case, I now have all my trikes and my T up for sell. I will get them listed here and on some other forums/websites within the next couple of days. Sounds like your plans for retirement are going smoothly and should be an easy transition for you. Good luck with the sale of your bikes as they should go fast. Honestly, last fall I was ready to hang it up too. Still not 100% sure. I may sell off the wing and just keep the Magna in the barn for an occasional two wheel fix. Besides, if Fred can tour on a 750cc Nighthawk, I should be able to tour with a 750cc bike too. Andy

I do have some retirement plans in the works, but they include the motorcycle, not an RV. I guess I have a little different take on retirement than a lot of people. After being around motorhomes for 30 years, (while my parents were in the process of wearing out three of them) I know that RVing is not for me. Not more than a weekend of it anyway. Posts: 1908 04/02/08 8:29 AM	Waited until April 2nd to post my response. My decision is not a joke. When I was out walking a few days ago I was almost hit by two different cars. I was crossing the street, in a crosswalk, with a walk light, 100% legal. It seems too many people are too preoccupied with lifes other distractions and cell phones. I had a real close call last fall on my way to the T rally. Not as close as Dans, but enough to make me park my bikes for a month or so. As I keep thinking about it, I just no longer have the passion to ride 700-800 miles a day. I can see taking a couple hundred mile local loop, but this I can do on the Magna. Probably putting the wing on the block this month. It will be a 'if I get the right price, I'll sell' type of deal. Once the wing sells, I'll sell off the 1990 Miata, take the proceeds and buy a 2002-2004 Miata. Andy
