I've been riding for almost a year now and I have a little over 9000 miles under my belt. bought my first bike in may of 07, it was an 01 ace tourer with 2/10ths of a mile on the odometer when i saw her on the show room floor (she wasn't even the bike i was looking for i was looking for a saber, but the only saber they had, was decorated with purple flames, and i'm not a purple kind of guy) she was covered in dust, p-pad seat bolt was missing and one of the mirrors was gone, but i had the sales rep roll it out and i threw a leg over her and i tell you it was love at first sit. anyhow they replaced all the missing parts polished her up and i took her home. The rest as they say is history.
A little about me, I retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years and went to work for the Department of Defence doing the same job that i did for 20 years, building bombs and missiles. I have been married for almost 21 years to my lovely bride, and i have 2 son's 19 and 17.
