Kathy and I are at a campground in NE Connecticut where they have wi-fi. We just finished visiting the Finger Lakes region in NY, as well as a week in Vermont
and New Hampshire. In NY (especially in the Finger Lakes region) I was glad I was in a cage, but Vermont and New Hampshire are full of awesome roads. Lots of
twisties, lots of ups and downs, very few hairpins. I was really starting to suffer from PMS. The Laconia area looks pretty interesting, but I wouldn't
like to be there during bike week.
If anyone is interested in getting together in New England, I'd be real interested.

I'm thinking of two events next summer... - The 6th annual T rally in Clarksburg the first full weekend in September. - A New England ride... maybe a 'going to Americade' ride. Over the past 3-4 years I came to realize, I like going to a rally, going home from a rally, and riding the outskirts of a rally, but actually dislike the main event. I'm thinking about the 'Going To Americade' ride as an event by itself. Gathering somewhere in OH or PA, riding up US62, through NY to the St. Lawrence river, along the northern edge of the US, then heading south in NY, VT or NH down to Lake George. I'm guessing it would take 2-3 days to make the loop. If some wanted to see Americade, a Sat-Tues ride would get them in town for the earlier part of the rally. I would opt for a dinner with some New England T members, then head down to Albany, spend the night then I would work my way home on US 20. Any way... I'm holding off on announcing any plans. Trying to give Dan and the Eureka Springs group a chance to announce their rally before we take over the board.

Andy, Sorry for the late response.
We're in Virginia Beach, and the campground has wi-fi throughout the park. I'm tied to the Hoot every year as a volunteer. I think we'd have to be there by about 6/15. Americade in early June, followed by the two (or more) of us touring New England before the Hoot sounds like a good plan. I just checked with Kathy, and she's on-board with the idea as well.

Hi There,
I am new to the site and just picked up a 2000 T from Lancaster Pa and saw the post for the Sixth T rally.I live right off rt 62 just north of Warren ,pa and it would be great if I could tie in with you guys for a couple of days depending on the dates.The first week in Sept. I have to take my son to culinary school in Charlotte,NC and I am not sure how I will feel hoping right on the t when I get back.Let me know the status of this ride and dates. Don |

Don,
I am delighted you are interested in joining our Annual T Rally. Four of the five Annual T Rallys we have had have held during the second weekend in Sept. which has been the weekend after Labor Day weekend, usually encompassing my Wedding Anniversary which is Sept. 10th. This year the weekend after Labor Day weekend is actually the first full weekend in Sept. I, for one, am amenable to either the first long weekend of the 4th through the 7th or the second long weekend covering the dates of the 11th through the 14th. Which would you prefer? Anybody else have a preference?

I think the second weekend works better. There are lots of family things happening Labor day weekend. Also, there are lots more cars out on the road Labor Day Weekend.

Stony, You still want a hot tub? I think Andy found one in Clarksburg that has a hot tub.

I THOUGHT I heard the words "hot tub" and "wussie" - that would be me. So glad I found this thread. John and I will try to make it,
if he can get time off. We've got our HSN rally in Hendersonville in October, the SmokeOut weekend in June, plus my 73-year-old Dad is riding his
Aero all the way from WI to VA to ride with me for 2 weeks after he attends his first rally (he just got his "M" last year, and I'm mega-proud of
him), and I plan on wearing out my camping gear this summer!
Question: Will John's CB750 bobber be allowed to ride with the T's? My T is a solo rider, and besides, he'd never want to ride "beeyotch" behind me. LOLOL I am looking forward to meeting you folks in person - well, most of you.  If a certain member looks the way he does in his siggie, then I'm
out...*snicker*

Thanks, Skip, I just didn't want to assume that other bikes were welcome. I know that some groups don't. Our East Coast Rally thru HondaShadow.net
includes other bikes. It's really great to put faces with the screen names, and we've made friends-for-life through the forum. ECR 2007
