Am I the only T-ridin' chick who posts on this forum? You know, women riders have special needs! We need to discuss what kind of makeup won't run in
our eyes when we get caught riding in the rain, how to keep the snarls out of our hair while riding, what color jacket will co-ordinate with our T's paint,
etc. NOT!!! Just kidding about all that, but seriously, am I the only woman who posts here?
Where are my road sisters? If there were roughly 6000 T's manufactured, and you take 1000 of those off the road for one reason or another, and 10% of
riders are women, but take a chunk of that number off for gals who opt for smaller bikes, and a chunk off for those who opt for Wings or Harleys, then I wonder
how many T-ridin' gals are there?
Not that I don't enjoy the company here, you guys are absolutely great! I'm always hangin' around with the guys in town here because I would much
rather talk about bike mods and paint than chitty-chatty henhouse stuff. I was just curious if there are any other gals here.

Dawn, there are a few just haven't heard from them lately. The last ERC I took was taught by a married couple. She rode a tourer. It was great fun
talking about the T's and their handling peculiarities during the class. I encouraged her to join the forum but never saw her sign up. LadyAce has been
at the last two tourer rallies, with her husband who also has a tourer (thats two tourer's) they also teach MSF courses. Must be something about Tourer riders having superior
riding skills.
 I bought my tourer from a couple that had his and
hers tourers too. There should be a few more ladies around here some ware.

Wow, that IS a beautiful site, those TWO T's in the garage. (I'm working on my hubby to get one for himself to add to our stable!)
I've been slowly going through one of the old threads and saw a couple of women who posted, but they had posted quite a while ago. Perhaps one or two will pop in occasionally. Live It, Love It, Paint It, Ride It!

Dawn....the key to your statement is "who post to this forum". There have been several Tourer owners of the softer variety who have joined our ranks
but they do not seem to stay around too long. And maybe you hit the nail on the head about why the few woman riders do not post more often....not enough female
content on our forum pages.
I do not want to make a generalization, but it would be my bet that most woman ride to accompany a significant other who also rides. And unlike men their interests do not lend themselves to the details of motorcycling so we do not hear from them as often. By my recollection there were about 13 woman who joined that actaully owned and rode a Tourer. Then a few more who joined the forum because we are such great guys. Here is the list of who I know are softer T owners.

Alepel, thanks for the list, I am surprised there were even thirteen!! Cool! Your list gives me a place to begin to try and perhaps contact a couple of them
who are closer to my area. I really don't need "female content" to be a happy forum member, I was just hoping to find one or two like-minded
gals.
I like your phrase, "softer T owners", but really, the only part on me that's "soft" is my middle-aged midsection! HAHAHA!! I'm sort of a tomboy who doesn't mind gettin' her hands full of grease or using power tools. I've even been known to grunt like Tim Allen on occasion in Lowe's or Home Depot when looking at tools, much to my husband's amusement. And Bud, you are very sweet. I do not remember all their screen names, but I can think of three other female HSATF members including Marpesia from San Francisco, Lardsgirl from Wisconsin and the artist from Australia.

Yeah....well my Avatar of me going through puberty is probably not helping matters much, either. You know....the 4 foot body with 3 foot arms and short legs,
hair everywhere, big ears, etc.
Come to think of it.......I'm still

hey dawn,
i have a nice set of fishtails i cut off the end of a set of harley mufflers. the mufflers were scratched, but the fishtails are perfect. don't know if there's any way you could modify them to work or not. always thought if i got a T or any bike with duals(one on each side), i'd try to use them. if they're anything you could use, i'd sell them very cheap. bud
