skidro, I figured you'd be happy with those bags! *happy dance* I just love the fact that they are shaped perfectly for the T. They really are nifty with
all those little slots for various items, aren't they? I put a little notebook in mine that has every mile logged since I got the T - also where we went,
who we rode with, when I filled her up with gas, when we did any work on her. I did that with my VLX600, too, and it is so fun to go back and flip through the
past rides. The first thing I do when I get home from a ride is to log Matty's mileage and jot a note about the ride.
My age rolls away on the bike, too, for I feel rather bad*ss whenever I hop on the T...then I wake up the next morning and my bones feel like an old woman (arthritis and costochondritis...bleeeccchhhh). Live It, Love It, Paint It, Ride It!

Dawn,
Looked through the thread before asking, but where did you get the bag liners? I saw the post about the tank bag at Wally World, but didn't see anything about the liners. The Wife might like those for her T |

Hi Don! I read your post in my Women on T's thread, too. Have your wife jump in, as this sure is a nice bunch of folks here, and I'm sure she'd
enjoy it. I'm glad to hear she's enjoying her T!
Here's the link to the bag liner thread, and I posted a pic in there of what they look like: http://hondashadowacetourer.yuku.com/topic/8496 There are so many topic areas to explore here, it takes awhile to get around and discover all the great info! Live It, Love It, Paint It, Ride It!

Dawn,
I've been catching up on some forum stuff, and I got a chance to see Jasmine Wind and the YouTube video. WOW!! Very nicely documented and very nicely executed transformation. Your work is a great example of what I refer to as "iron art."

Thanks, Stony! The long videos take awhile to put together, but I enjoy going back to view them as they really do give a sense of the transformation that takes
place when we do these rebuilds. I need to take some new pics for the T page with the latest goodies added: the floorboards, saddlebag luggage racks and the
guard rail bags -- she's stylin'! I love the T more and more everytime I ride.
Between finishing paint on a customer's bikes (this week, an all-out flamin' bike) and pulling apart 3 donor bikes for my inline twin bobber, my poor website has not been updated in a while. I've got at least 5 recent projects that I need to add to the airbrush gallery and customer page! Live It, Love It, Paint It, Ride It!

Dawn, I watched your video a couple of days ago and my wife said i was transfixed, she just couldn't get my attention off of it. Love the bike. I used to
have a talent for the artistic even went to the Memphis College of Art several years back (close to 20) when Amy Carter went there, wasn't impressed with
her work tho. Problem is the years slip away and life happens and sometimes not the way you'd expect or want but I have no regrets 'cause my greatest
works of art are still growing and I have them for a few more years.

Joel, thank you...you'd probably enjoy the video of the VLX600, too ("Mermie"). Just remember, there's always room in your life for art, and
it's a great thing to get involved in with kids, even if it's just teaching them art appreciation. Kids who learn about art and music tend to do better
in school and in life! I don't have children of my own (I did raise a stepson from 9 - 16 years old, and was a nanny for many years); I do enjoy teaching
the neighborhood kids to play guitar and piano, as well as sharing nature lessons with them about the plants and critters when we all walk down to the creek.
The kids help me keep my mind "childlike"

Dawn, we need to get together and you can teach me to play guitar (where do you think my handle came from). I have been trying to learn to play since I was
nine. I played drums in several Seattle bands Spluyie Numma, and Reaching from the Grave but had to give it up cause it was wearing me out (Shoulders, neck,
back and knees). Kids are the geatest. There are no bad kids just bad parents, some people should never be allowed to reproduce when there are so many out
there that would be good with kids that can't have any. I have some of the best kids, only problem is they are spoiled just like their Mamma. My oldest
Andrew, just hit 6'4" and still going, he's taller than I am at 6'3". He'll be going to college in another year and I can't wait,
I'm excited for him but sad for me. Whoa, I gotta stop or I'll go on about my kids forever.
