I don't believe you need to sign in. zoom in close it fitters by zoom level. It only shows 10 items at any one time. so if i look at pittsburg at the 20mile level i see 10 stations, if i zoom to 1mile or less still 10 stations but it is a good chance that that is all of them.

Tony....I've been playing around with this Windows Live Local thing you put on here. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I make the selection "gas stations" if only finds the stations that are dead center on my monitor? I find that if I want to local more gas stations in a particular area, I have to center that area on my monitors screen and then more selections pop up. I tried planting my cursor around the screen but the gas station locations stay with the center position of the screen and not where I plant my cursor. Is this right or am I doing something wrong? What I'm doing seems to work fine, but I am anal about such things.

The results list is centered on the center of the map (number 1 is closest to center, 2 next closest, etc.), this does result in a lot of panning around, then waiting for it to renumber and possibly find more. I usually hold the left hand mouse button down and drag the map, also rolling the wheel on the mouse will easily zoom in and out. a right click will give the option to recenter map around the point at which you right clicked.
