Well, after all sorts of planning, delays, and keeping secrets, we got the bike shipped out there, and Debbie was stunned. She enjoyed it so much until she passed away just a few months later. Pete wanted to send me a hug for helping to bring some smiles to Debbie, and that's where the Rolling Hug started...the story of how the hug finally got to me is now in my blog.

I hope it takes a roundabout trip through hundreds of bikers before it gets back to Pete, and perhaps a few of my fellow HSATF members will end up in my "Hugger's Hall".
Enjoy every minute you can with your loved ones.
Peaceful journeys,
Dawn
A wonderful postscript to the story is that Deb and Pete had decided that they would give their daughter, Sarah, the BRC as her next birthday present so that she could ride Mermie after Deb passed on. I'm happy to say that Sarah started off on a Rebel (she was afraid she'd drop Mermie), and has now "graduated" to riding Mermie!
