i have been a member of this site i would say for several months now but i dont think i ever introduced myself. my name is mark and i am from palestine,
texas. after being on this site for a while i wonder if anyone on here is from texas or the south central u.s. i recently bought my late fathers bike that
fell off a trailer and i am restoring it for sentimental value first and foremost. i hope to use this site to gain friends and find parts to fix my bike.

my dads bike was a tourer. i didnt realize that their were so few of them produced. slowly but surely coming to this site periodically i will find most of the parts i will need or want to dress the bike up. |

I live in San Antonio, TX. I buy most of my parts from www.bikebandit.com. They have almost all of the original parts for hundreds of bikes.

I recently sold my Shadow A.C.E. 750 and purchased my first tourer the same day! I really love the forum, and the feeling of community it makes! I am excited
to join! I have been doing some work to my bike, (taking some extras off and adding some things). I recently took the "teapot" or resonator out of
the muffler. I am contemplating drilling the bafles out as well...Any advice?? On my 750 I had a cobra exhaust slash tip that sounded wonderful. I am currently
strapped for cash, so I am trying to make do with what I have in the stock exhaust. Again, I am excited to join all of you in the group! See Ya!
