Get the Cobra engine gaurd. The MC Enterprises brand will contact the windshield unless it has the Valk cut mod.
Get the factory service manual when one becomes available on ebay. They average $15 to $25, but is a fraction of what one cost new. You will need a special adapter to go on top of your MC jack. Some have built their own out of 2x4 wood, or steel. Below is what one brand looks like.....and here is one place to buy one on sale for $59.95 ; http://garage-toys.com/unmoad.html

As always, Stan is spot on with his reply. I had the MC bars first and they hit the shield. I then put on the Cobra engine guards and they fit great. It
took some sweet talk to line up the holes, but they worked great and IMHO I think they looked better. They have more beef and complimented the bike. Bob

Well now look at you with the big beautiful T. Have your feet touched the ground yet. Isn't it a great feeling to own and ride one of the finest
motorcycles on the road?
Got any plans for personalizing this bike to your own taste?

Except for highway bars and throttle lock I don't have any plans for accessories, Maybe a rider backrest in the future if I can find one for a stock seat

Wow, looks like it came off the showroom floor!
I added the driver backrest on mine and love it. It's not a very fancy-looking one but it feels right and fits any seat. - Rich |

After 2 weeks and 1500 miles I can say with a big smile that my T is running great . I love the way it handles and love the power and the hard bags.
This is my 4th bike (2004 Kawasaki 750 Vulcan, 2007 Honda 750 Shadow Aero, 1994 Honda ST1100 in in just over a year and it looks like this one is the keeper,it fits me perfectly I still have the Honda ST1100 |
