Hey, I was looking through the slide show on the bottom, and saw Crash's bike from Canada. He had a great picture from above showing off his bags.

What kind of saddle bags are they, and where do I get some. I want a set fot my bike to make it more long distance friendly. And the wife wants somewhere to
put her stuff in. Thanks!

Those are the factory hard bags from Honda that come on the Ace Tourer and the Valkyries as stock items. There are a few cheaper alternatives if a $1200 is too
much for you.
Here is one source but there are others out there that fail me at the moment. http://www.tsukayu.com/products.htm

What about the replacement bags that Scott got from ServiceHonda ? I believe he saved a few bucks
and got OEM bags. Touble with that is that Lunytun will be the mounting hardware also.

Yep, for about half the money or less than a set of factory T bags and hardware, you can get the Strong bags, hardware to mount, side rails and top rails as
options.
Remember that Scott's was a naked bag.........no lid, hardware, lock, etc. Stan

naked bags - not a pretty site. You can buy everything you need to build a T from service honda. How much do you want to spend?

just saw your post about hardbags. i've got a nice set of bates hardbags i may be selling. they were on the old 750 honda i got and i've already used
the chrome guard rails from it on my bike. if i ever do anything with the 750, i'll probably take the fairing, trunk and bags off it. these bags look a lot
like harley hardbags and i do have the keys for them. they have some minor hairline cracks in the fiberglass, but overall in very nice shape.
if your interested, i can get a few pics posted of them. another good alternative would be to find a set of leatherlykes. they are a locking hardbags, but wrapped in leather. that's what i just put on my bike. new they are around 500 bucks, but i found a set off a valk here in k.c. and scored them for 200 bucks. there's a pic of them on my aero in the "members, non tourer" section. bud |
