Thanks for the update Rick, now what hospital is he at? Continuing with the prayers.
Are you at home, I was hopeing to get together with you about your brother, but before this happened I was going to see if you wanted to take a trip down to Stans. Joel

in TCIU. I would love to make a trip to Stans, but I'm spending another tour in KY on a Pipeline project. I will be there until late Oct or Nov. Only home
mostly on Sunday. Lucky I am close enough to drive home Saturday evening and go back Sunday evening.
I was at The Med today but brought his 2 girls and my wife home. I have to go to the Dr tomorrow to see about fixing 5 herniated disc in my neck. Things are pretty wild around here right now. Thanks again for the prayers and well wishes! Mark will appreciate it!! Rick

Man! All I can say is that he's one tough knot to have survived not one, but 2 crashes on a T. I sure hope he heals up fast with no complications. I know
he'll be out of work for a while so if he needs financial assistance, maybe we can get up a fund to help him through.
On another note.......It sure saddens me to see that gorgeous T all crumpled up like that. I know you put a lot of love and care into that bike. I sure hope you don't go blaming yourself because you sold it to him and then this happened.....I know lots of people do. It was just an unfortunate co-incidence that 2 objects tried to occupy the same space at the same time. stan

Rick....I actually felt myself breathe a sign of relief when I read about Mark's prognosis. Good news! I hope the liver thing is an easy fix. I don't
know anything about liver problems.
Now I read about you and your herniated disks. I DO not a little something about those things. Good luck with the doctors visits. Let your brother know that we're all still here thinking about him and praying for a speedy recovery.

Missed you (and John) being there in April.
We went back up last Thursday to meet Uncle Clay and April and some of their friends from the Hot Springs area. Bryan took us for a really nice ride Saturday afternoon. It's alway nice up there. Hope your new wing is all you hoped for. I love mine. Sure hated to see your "T" in that condition. Hope your brother has a speedy and complete recovery. -Dan |

Mark is doing exceptionally well! They moved him out of TICU today and put him in a regular room. The Dr's say he doing great! Better than they would have
expected. As for me...................he is probably doing better than I am. I had surgery yesterday at Semmes/Murphy in Memphis. I asked if we could share a
room and cut down on the cost. They didn't go for it! They fused only two of my disc even tho they all were damaged. I stayed overnight last night and was
released today. I can not do anything.........work, ride, drive etc until my follow up appointment a week from Monday. I have to wear this stupid neck brace
for 4 to 6 weeks. Thats about all I have right now.

Rick, your brother is one lucky man! After seeing the wreckage it's amazing he faired as well as he did. I'm happy to hear he's mending well.
Now for you, I hope you heal up quickly too. Because of you and Mark, 2 doctors will have a nice Hawaiian vacation this year ,I hope they at least thanked you  .
