Gas is expensive up here in Canada. Most gas stations charge $1.45 per litre for regular gas. At 4.5 litres per gallon, we are paying approx. $6.00 per gallon.
I filled up my Valkyrie the other day and it cost me $23.00 Canadian. This was the first time I ever put more than $20.00 of gas in any motorcycle I've owned. When I get ticked off, I just think about the poor soles filling up their R.V. John |

Come to Connecticut you wussies. The station just two blocks from here is $4.48. And that's regular my friends. It cost me $15.45 yesterday to fill up. I
just had another gas tax increase and I think we have the highest tax in the country now. Ain't life grand?

Shoot ya'll, I just filled up this AM and it cost me $8.00. A little over 2gal with 115 on the trip meter. It was $4.18 for premium. I don't have to
think about the poor slob filling his R.V., all I gotta do is look across the pumps to the poor dumb slob crying while he/she fills up his/her (gotta be
politicly correct these days) SUV. I just smile and wave while I whistle a little ditty and then hang up the pump after less than 4gal on the meter.
My Sister-in-law is in Tunisia with her husband and the kids for a wedding. And all we get to hear about is the fact that they are paying the equivalent of $10.00/gal. Joel

Filled the Wing up last Tuesday for $20.50. Odometer was at 230 miles and gas at $3.879. About 95-100 miles of that was 2 up. That's a little over 43 mpg
which is about the same my T got. I'm impressed that an engine of this size and power can still get that kind of mileage. If Honda would add another gear,
then the mileage would be over 50 mpg.

Just fueled today with 140.7 miles on the trip meter and put 2.875 gal in. That works out to about 48.94MPG. A that was after a 100 mile run back home from
ricks place last night averging about 70MPH. Not to shabby eh...

Regular in central Wisconsin is running at $3.99 and has been for a while now. My diesel pickup ($4.71/gal) is still on the same tank of fuel from May. The
bike and my little Dakota pickup are seeing all the action. I've been putting the trailer on the back of the T to go grocery shopping.
Being one of the poor slobs with an RV--and using Diesel--I will be heading back to work for a month in September to help finance our winter travels. Not quite the retirement I had planned, but at least we still get to go. I just hope fuel costs don't go crazy again like last year. When we left home in September, diesel was at $2.75/gal. We budgeted for $3.00/gal. By October it was over $3.00, and by the time we got home in April, it was $4.29/gal. This year we are budgeting $5.00/gal for diesel, but we are also taking the T along for sightseeing excursions.

$4.28 for regular here in central Washington. I AM that poor slob with the RV. The cost of petrol has adversely affected my retirement plans. I do less driving
and more sitting in one place. While I don't get to see as many "Sights", I get to know an area better. I spend less time driving the RV and more
time riding.

I took the T on a about a 60 mile round trip yesterday when I went to Cabella's and bought myself a new rifle. As I was getting off the Highway, I knew I
ws over a 100 miles on the odometer, so I pulled into my favorite town gas station and filled up. 2.631 gallons of regular @ $4.359 = $11.47. That's down a
little from where we've been. The station I mentioned earlier was $4.41 yesterday.

I thought you were going to put the rifle to use and get your gas for free.

I guess we can count our blessings here in Minnesota. I filled up my truck last night at $3.95.9 or $3.96 per gallon. $108.00...OMG! I think I need a smaller
gas tank.

Patience, Scott....patience.
No, I didn't have a .22, my step sons are 15 now, and I wanted one to take my boys to the gun club and teach them the 'right' way to use firearms. I believe that if they ever go over to someone's house and pick up a weapon while I'm not there to watch them, they'll know how to handle it, and more importantly, know how others should be handling it. Marksmanship instruction is one of the most enjoyable things I do. I miss training young men like back when I was in the Marines. Besides, I like to shoot!

"If it gets ya layed, its worth it!"never thought about that guns. i told a friend of mine all i needed to do with the red caddy was move to florida, get a pair of pants that fit about halfway up my chest, pair of white loafers and a big cigar...oh yeah, maybe a straw hat....i could maybe find me a rich old widow lady. my older brother always had a new car when i was about 17 or so and surprisingly, he would let me use it on my dates sometimes, but he always said if i needed a new car to impress a gal, she wasn't worth the time....on a couple occasions i had to disagree with him....she was worth it!
