If anyone is interested. I also have a Honda OEM sissy bar and back rest from my 1996 VT1100 Shadow. I had it on my Tourer until I got a trunk. It fits the T just fine. Unlike the ACE backrest, sissy bar--this is one piece. It's rust free, but it isn't showroom new. The backrest pad shows no sign of wear. If someone is interested, let me know. I'll be putting it on ebay sometime next week. Stony

HSATF 1st Officer Posts: 589 07/11/08 2:43 PM	Dawn, I used to use a tank bag. It's an extra step at the gas station, but they are handy. Hopnel aslo makes (at least they used to) a set of windshield bags for the T. BTW. A friend that does leather was going to put snaps on the straps of those little bags you bought in order to make them a little more secure. When my wife decided that I didn't want them, I didn't follow through with the snaps. Carver, The guy I sold the rack to sent me a complaining email that it doesn't fit on his bike. His said it was from an Aero not a T. I emailed him back with instructions on how to put it on, and let him know that it came off of my T. That was a couple of days ago. Anyway.... If he is still unhappy, I'll put you two in touch with each other. Pupule Rider. I don't know the answer to that one. Pics I've seen look the same, but the straps may not be. Stony
