At the southern end of New York's second largest Finger Lake, Lake Seneca (38 miles long by 618 feet deep) is the sleepy town of Watkins Glen, probably
best known for its race track where it has hosted Gran Prix and NASCAR races alike. The real gem of the town is a 2 mile long gorge. I cannot begin to
describe in words how beautiful this gorge is. I wish the pictures below could do it justice, but I fear they are just pale representations of the absolutely
stunning magnificence of this amazingly, special place.
