I've moved from Upstate NY from 60 to 70 degree weather to the Fantastic State of North Carolina, only one problem. Since we have been here the average temp has been from 94 - 102. When I go riding you want to take long country roads because in town stopping is like getting hit by a blast furnace.
I never thought I would ever say it's almost to hot to ride???
Can't wait till September, maybe the temp will drop a little and then the riding fun will begin. I only had one ride with Fred so far and that day was not as bad. Don't get me wrong, the weather is Great and we are having a ball, can't wait to see the snow up North and not have to shovel it.
I joinned the Southern Cruisers and we have met many nice people and have been on a few rides. They are all great riders and safety is the main concern which is great.
Ride Safe all and enjoy.
