Ken, looks like you have a sizable group there that likes to get together and ride. Fortunately you live in a place where you can ride all year. I enjoyed looking at all the pictures.

This weekend was an event called "Cyclepalooza".
It's a two day event that has been put on here in West Palm Beach area for the last few years. We "Widows Sons" BYKOTA chapter met the guy who puts on and organizes it. We volunteered our men to run the Sunday poker Run. We requested that one half the proceeds go to a charity. We chose the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. We collected money for the Poker Run, and the event. We had 200 plus riders on the run and raised over a thousand dollars ($1,000.00) for the charity. The winner of the Poker run won with (4) KINGS and took home a thousand dollars ($1,000.00). The cool thing is that he rode an 1100 Honda Aero. Go Honda!!! An excellent day overall and many thanks to the people who's generosity make it all happen. - ![]() Kens T (Sec. BYKOTA Widows Sons) |

Ken, thanks for being a part of this event. My academic dean, a good friend, has two daughters afflicted with juvenile diabetes. No history anywhere else in their family. It is really a huge stress in their lives. Thanks to all of those that contributed to such a worthy cause.

Wow, our Masonic riding assocation sure has taken off here in south Florida. The BYKOTA - West Palm beach chapter that I am secretary with has now grown to 24
members. We had just four 2 years ago and fourteen last year.
Things are good. I'll be honest though. With this many people it sure is getting difficult to put together organized rides and get a decent turn-out for them. I guess we average about 10 - 12 per any given ride. Well i better go. I'm just rambling on.... LOL Kens T

Congratulations Ken. Putting together and sustaining a sizeable group is commendable. Sounds like you are going to be needing some good First Officers
especially if your group gets any bigger. Have you considered how to organize several dozen or a few hundred? It seems the way you are going that is only a
year or two away. Something to think about...

Great going on the ride Ken...It is a worthy cause indeed. We put a rather large ride together every August that is sponsored by seven area sheriffs (who all
ride) and our local Red Cross chapters. On average we have 700 bikes. To control the mess of start-up and grouping all those bike we have seven different
starting points and the start times are between 8 and 10 AM. This way only small groups take off at any one time. We all meet at one place at the end for
food and music. Even that is not chaotic because again we have small groups riding who started a different times. Just an idea for you.
Again...great going. You can raise money for a good cause and have a good time as well. Bob |

10-4 Bob. I've been involved with the staggered starts. Makes for a safer ride for sure.

I'm not a Mason (though I am Messianic), am I correct in guessing that in the abbreviation BYKOTA the K.O.T. stands for Knights of Templars?
