That's a Honda?!?! |

That was the first comment I received when I parked my '98 T in front of my local watering hole. I just bought it last week and no one could believe that
the bike was mostly stock and that I didn't add the bags, chrome etc. It was parked next to a Wide Glide and a Vulcan 1500 and the T was the only bike
people commented on. Needless to say I am happy. My previous ride was an '05 Aero 750 and I was looking for something bigger. I did a lot of research
and kept coming back to the T. Glad I did. I have had it a week now and I have about 200 miles on it. Unfortunately yesterday I was walking up the drive
and noticed that I had a screw in my rear tire (brand new tire too!) so she will be out of commission for a week or so. That's my luck. Oh well, it gives
me something to look forward too.

Welcome to the forum.
We all have enjoyed that feeling when people realize what a great bike the T is. Tell us a little about yourself.

TforT....welcome to the forum and your going to be getting compliments on your Tourer for a very long time. They are a fabulous looking bike. Sorry to hear
about the screw in the tire.
As Alan already stated please tell us more about yourself, where your from and if there are any family members. Let us know more about yourself than just your forum ID. We are a friendly bunch here and it is always good to know a little about someone you're interested in talking to. Again welcome to the forum and I'm looking forward to 'talking' with you more in the future.

Welcome to the forum, TforT from Danville, VA.
Everybody here has heard my first T ride story, but I thought you might get a chuckle out of it, too, due to your experience. First time I filled up my T at a gas station, some guy pulled up and said, "nice Harley", to which I replied, "thanks, it's a Honda"...his answer to me? "Are you SUUUURE?" As if I didn't know what I was riding! LOL! You're gonna continue to get lots of comments on your bike, I'm sure! Enjoy the heck out of it, the T's are wonderful machines. Live It, Love It, Paint It, Ride It!

A little about me | #9 | ||
|
Well, my name is Tom. (the last "T" in my user id). I have been living in Plainfield Il for the last 3 years with my wife and 2 girls. My previous
bike was a Shadow Aero 750. I sold that when we moved here and wasn't planning on buying another bike but couldn't fight the urge any longer. I
wanted something bigger this time and after A LOT of research I chose the Tourer. It is pretty much everything I was looking for in a bike and I found a great
one for sale not too far from me. It's been killing me to have it sit there but today I finally received the tire I ordered and it is being mounted as I
type this. If you don't hear from me for awhile on here then you will know where I am.

Hi T, welcome to the form.
You are not the first person who has said "I've a flat, I need to replace my tire". Why is this? Are motorcycle tires so badly made that one flaw and you need to scrap them? I bought a pump and patch kit to keep with my bike for the long rides I'm going to start doing this year, and was glad when our tire is tubeless. Gordon |
