scott,
is that your harley? damn, if it is, i feel for you! a few years ago, a guy here in k.c. had a show corvette he hauled in an enclosed trailer and same thing happened. bounced that 'vette around for about 50 miles before he knew it. totaled the car. that's one reason i've always used an open trailer, so i can see what's going on. i constantly am looking in the mirrors. i've taught rudy to do the same thing. i align the bike in the mirrors before i leave and if at any time i see it's aligned differently, i immediately pull over and check the tie downs. sorry this happened, get some pics up when you get it out of the trailer. getting it up and out will probably be a hassle...good luck. bud |

My bike. The bike and trailer are at Durango Harley waiting for the insurance adjuster. My insurance requires that I lock the bike up at night - hence the
enclosed trailer. Had my rear view camera aimed at it the whole time. I got quite a show.

Dang-it, Scott! Now, you know that's not the proper way to park a Harley in a trailer!
Might as well laugh it off. What else can you do? Close to the same thing happened to my friends new VTX. He insisted that there was no need to strap the rear down.....that the straps were good enough on the front. Well, I-40 through TN is like a washboard in places, and the rear of that new VTX was doing the Mongoose dance in that trailer. It didn't fall over like yours, but there's nothing more aggravating than to have to replace the signals on a new bike before the 1st payment was due. Stan |

I'm trying to laugh. I had five straps on it and 4 of them broke, the other one just came off.

Shazitt....Scott....what a sickening feeling I had in the pit of my stomach when I saw these pictures. That has to have been one hell of a bump to break 4
straps. Were you pulling the trailer with the motorhome?
I'm hoping that the insurance settlement gives you something to feel good about again. Sorry man!
