Probably wasn't mine.
I had seen a black Tourer on the way home quite a few times. As things go, I ended up at a stop sign with the guy one day. I commented on how nice a bike he had, being a bit sarcastic, since it was just like mine. I even commented on how his looked better since it was clean. We chatted a few seconds. He told me how many miles he had on the bike, so he had it for a few years. The only difference in the bikes (other than mine being dirtier) was that I take off the emblems. He finally looks my bike over and asks what my bike was... |

We rode the entire length of the Blue Ridge Parkway on our return trip from Americade. After ending in Cherokee, NC we rode thru the Great Smokey Mountains
and spent the night in Gatlinburg. We rode home to Murray, KY the next day. Total for trip 2400 miles. I'd rate the Blue Ridge Parkway as one of the best
rides in the eastern US.

Agreed Sobee regarding the BRP. Welcome to the Forum. Too bad we missed you at Americade. I just rode the first 199 miles of the BRP on the way back from
Americade. Since then I moved to Greenville, SC, just an hour and a half from the highest point on the BRP at Richland Balsam. What a great place to stop and
have a look. Maybe we'll ride together in the future.
