Hi everyone,tomorrow I will be mounting my new mc guards I'm no wrench so I thought I'ld pick your brains if you don't mind.I think the brake side
gets mounted on the front peg braket,When I mounted the cobra boards I cut down the peg bracket and used it as my spacer instead of the spacers cobra sent
because Stan said there is a button impregnated on the peg bracket that is a exhaust vibration suppresor, with the new guards I'm going to get rid of the
braket and use a spacer on the rear floor board mounting bolt, I shouldn't have to use a spacer on the guards mounting bracket, meaning the front bolt.My
real dilema is the left side, does the guard mount to the lower sub frame bolt and if it does is this the bolt that allows the engine to drop.I know that some
people have expirenced this problem.I hope this hasn't been to confusing.Any help would be appreciated, maybe a picture of the left side mount would be
helpful.
