This my experience, my current T has V&H pipes with everything about the carbs the way it came from the factory and it runs good. On a past Tourer I had V&H pipes and K&N air filter, lot of exhaust popping so i put in a Dynojet kit. I used the jets Dynojet recommended and the bike ran like crap. I kept going up in jet size until the bike ran good, but I don't think it ever ran any better than the one with stock carbs. There is and old posting on the forum where someone with access to a dyno tested their Tourer using numerous carb set-ups and best I can remember the bike preformed best stock jets/needles using the washer mod, where a small washer is placed under the ring at the top of each needle. I do believe with the right jets or jet kit that the Tourer performance could be improved, how much???
But NO my T with V&H pipes I is not re-jetted. If you go to the K&N filter and V&H you may have to re-jet.
