Oh ya,a great looking piece of nature there. I visited that area in '08
BB, I certainly agree.  Driving or riding on the Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway, I have passed by Table Rock State Park at least a dozen times, maybe two, but never pulled in until yesterday.  Maybe previously it was for lack of time, i.e. always being in a hurry to get to the twisties not far from Table Rock, or maybe I was too cheap to pay the entry fee, but now that our new home is just a little more than 30 miles away and also that my wife bought a SC State Park Pass, there are no excuses, and no excuses are needed anymore.  We plan to visit Table Rock SP regularly.  It is too beautiful, and too close not to visit as much as we like.  I am looking forward to seeing it in all seasons.  I do not know if we will get to see it with snow this winter, but I expect to see the Rhododendron in bloom in the spring, and also when the trees have their leaves during the warm months.  Next year I want to see the fall colors as well.  It must be glorious.
