DTC, I have a MC Enterprizes mini-rack that I bought from J.C. Whitney. It fits at its front to the rear seat bolt and in its back to two places on either side of the license plate holder. It does not look sturdy but is. I have carried many substantial loads on there, such as a filled 24 can cooler, and the back end of my 24" long duffle bag loaded with a week's worth of travel clothes, etc. It is not the best looking luggage rack but it works well and the chrome has not rusted or pealed after 5 years. Personally I like the looks of Cobra's luggage rack better. I was just too cheap to pay Cobra's price.

However, if the problem you are running into is that you cannot find a luggage rack that is compactible with your sissy bar it seems there are two alternatives. Find the luggage rack that goes with that sissy bar or use the MC Enterprizes rack that I am using so that you do not have to afix the luggage rack to the same mounting bolts that the sissy bar mounts to. Since the sissy bar mounts to the fender rail supports and the MC Enterprizes luggage rack mounts to the seat bolt and license plate bolts the two are independent of each other. Good luck!
