First, this is just gut feeling, not backed up with test.

The main jets aren't the same on both carbs because the heat and the exhaust flow aren't the same. So my $.02's worth is keep the relationship (or ratio) the same.

Second there is a difference in the gearing between the bikes. This changes the power band, and where the real torque delivery occurs.

Have since tried my overall adjustment scheme on a Harley and a Kamakasi with good results. Leave the top end alone and make the changes at the low and mid range. That is where most of them are lean for emission standards.

The folks at Dyno Jet told me via email that their kit is NOT suitable for the T, (made for the Shadow) and it is different. But trial and error is the only way to really know what works.
