I have 2000"""T""" and one of things I love about it is start and go !!!! I thumb on choke , hit starter , go ride about 4 blocks to end of my street , thumb off choke and she rides just fine whether it 80 out or 30 " degrees , not sluggish at all. Know the tube you are talking about but have never noticed and drips from it at all.Have asked some friends about this that ride other Shadow models , some say they experiance little cold bloodiness , but none have noticed drips you mentioned , most agree bikes warm up just fine in couple blocks. Do not REQUIRE 10 / 15 minite warm ups !!!! My usual routine is uncover bike , fire it up , put lunch in saddle BAG , PUT ON HELMET & GLOVES GO RIDE, BY STOP SIGN FOUR BLOCKS FROM HOME THUMB OFF CHOKE , WARM UP COMPLETE !!! i WOULD WATCH THIS CLOSELY , some have said bikes were slightly cold blooded first 1000 miles or so , but none of us have seen the drips ???

RIDE SAFE and ENJOY YOUR """T"""
