Stan, it is similar here. The crocuses came and went a couple of weeks ago. The daffodils bloomed then too and are still in bloom. Two or three of the trees have been blooming for the last week and the Bradford Pears are about to come out. Some of the grass is green here near Charlotte depending on the type. I may have to get the lawn mower out in the next week or two. It's nice to ride in some warmer weather.

I may go on my first trip of the year next weekend. Triumph will have their demo fleet in Cumming, GA next Fri. and Sat. Weather-permitting I will leave after work on Fri. and travel along the Cherokee Footshill Highway (SR 11 in SC) until I reach Georgia. Sometime before dark I will find a place to stay and go the rest of the way to Machines in Motion where the demo rides start at 9 am. I really want to ride the 2.3L Rocket III and the new Tiger 1050cc Adventure-Tourer. If I get to ride a Bonneville and the naked Daytona 675 too, that will be a fantastic day. I will probably leave Cumming about noon and head back home to spend time with the wifey. If I happen to wander into North Carolina by way of Warwomen Road and SR 28 in northeast GA that could be a big bonus. This is starting to sound real good. Anybody want to join me?
