Alain,

I did haul my T using U-Haul's motorcycle trailer from 50 miles north of Indianapolis to Fire Fly's yard in the Florida Panhandle and back. There is plenty of room in that trailer for the T even with the gate up.

I overdid securing my T in that motorcycle trailer by using either 5 or 6 straps and did not even have to compress the front forks. One strap was used to keep the front tire tight against the trailer's front V. Two straps went between the Cobra safety bars and the trailer's side rails. Two more straps went between the saddlebag rails and the trailer's side rails. I may have had one more strap between one of the Cobra safety bars and the trailer's front rails. I cannot remember. Anyway it was in there tight and I did stop after a few miles and re-tightened the straps. I also checked the straps everytime I stopped for gas or otherwise.

The only problem I had was the tread of the front tire got cut about 5/8" wide and 1/8" deep where I snugged the tire into the top of the trailer's front V-section. For the trip home, Fire Fly gave me a 5" length of the fire hose to put between the front tire and that somewhat sharp edge of the trailer. That worked beautifully. The cut did not get any deeper. I never did have any trouble as a result of that cut. It did not affect performance and eventually the tread wore down past where the tread had been cut. However, I would recommend that you put something substantial between the T's front tire and the trailer's V-section.
