Hey Don,

I believe we belong to two of the same motorcycle clubs: HSATF and Venturers. I looked at your login name and said: that name looks familiar. That is a very nice looking Venture Royale. I ride a Royal Star Venture and a Tourer.

You came to the right place to learn more about the Tourer. Welcome to the forum!!

Alain, Your brother aught to check-out www.venturers.org for information on the Venture Royale. They have a great tech library for repairs and add-ons. Actually, they are having a Ride-in in the Adirondacks in mid August. Members can attend and invite a friend.
I just checked the For sale section and found this:
1986 Yamaha Vneture Royale 24,554 miles
Since I bought the Valkyrie I am going to sell the Venture. I bought this about 5 months ago and have been working on it since I got it. The bike is in really good shape but needed some maintanance. It had new tires when I got it and I added a K&N filter, Rivco spin on oil filter, fuel filter, oil change, fork brace, brake fluid flush, spark plugs, and changed the valuve cover gaskets. The bike is all stock except for a auxilary plug. I also bought a new petcock because this one is alittle stiff. The bike does need a antenna. I was going to do the Marshall Mod so I didn't replace it yet. I also have a drivers backrest for it. The bike has M/C highway boards. As the ad says the bike has 24,554 miles on it. Sorry about the pictures. I hate this camera. I am asking $4000.00

The person lives in WV and I can ask if it is still available. I do not know this member.
