I didn't really have a problem with the time. I was just pointing out that if your online for only an hour, and we come onboard about 2 hours later, no one else is still around waiting to chat.

People need to do what I did, join the room, and leave it open for about 1 hour while your busy doing other things on your computer, checking back about every 5-10 minutes. Once someone else logs on, you type a greating, wait, and you both do this back-&-forth till you both realize someone else is there for a chat. Others show up, give a salutation, and see what the chat is about, or start a thread of there own.

With regards to having multiple thread at the same time, it can be confusing, but this is how BBS where almost 20 years ago. You just need to remember if you are having a one-on-one chat (not private) that you start the line off with their name. Remember, we can't see whom you are addressing.

Speed of the modem and computers is no longer an issue, so most people don't need to learn a new language, mostly dropped vowels, and other kinds of tags, right ppl? L8R lol
