stan,
sounds like you need a couple goats. when lillian and i lived together on a seven acre "mini farm", i got the idea to get a goat. had a friend who wanted to get rid of a pet one. went to get it in my pickup, but decided not to put the goat in the bed of the truck, so he rode home in the front seat between me and lillian!! that goat followed me around just like a dog would and was a great pet to have around...UNTIL....came out of the house one morning and he was standing on the hood of an MG i had just restored!! that was the end of the goat. found out they always like to stand on the highest point around.
next we tried a rooster, but he only stayed around a few days and was gone. we had neighbors who had chickens and guess he got a little "horny". never did see him again.
grass is already turning a little green around kansas city also. i love spring, but hate yardwork!!
