The tire manufacturers and other motorcycle industry gurus will have you believe that you have to change front and rear tires at the same time, that you have to use the same manufacturer's tires and the same tread pattern. That may be true for a race bike, but all the tires that fit on a T are so far from being fully utilized that it just does not matter. Compared to a race bike, the acceleration, braking and lean angle of a cruiser like the T are miles from the edge. You can mix tread patterns, patterns from different manufacturers, it does not matter. And you certainly do not have to change both tires at the same time. Do whatever is convenient, or most cost effective, or whatever strikes your fancy. It doesn't matter. Your T will still perform fantastically.
