Guys, I gotta say something here. I was 14 years old when I started riding motorcycles. I didn't take any courses back then. I got on the bike and took off. Everything I have been taught in every class I ever took was something that, for the most part, I had already figured out through experiencing it. Explaining to people what they 'should do' is one thing, but 'doing it' is a complete other thing. Riding a motorcycle should a natural thing. The motorcycle should become an extension of your body and move with you. If its not natural to you, then you need to spend a lot more time practicing. Practice at various speeds, on various surfaces, and in various weather conditions. After 40+ years of riding, I still put myself in various situations just for the feel of it. I can honestly say that I don't have to 'think' about 'what' I have to do to make my motorcycle do it. I think if you do have to think about it before you do it, then you're behind the 8-ball. Practice some more. Just my two cents.
