If I have my druthers, I'd like to do about 175 miles each day, with a few (probably three to five) long stops at sites that are really worth seeing, and a few pull overs to take a quick snapshot or two of the scenery. I think that that would make a very good day with friends. I looked at the map and found the New River Gorge Bridge. If I'm convinced by some of you that it is really something to see, then I'd make the trek myself on Sunday as I was leaving Elkins. I'd also like to here of anything worth while making the ride to west of Elkins that I might also see as I am leaving on Sunday. I'm in no hurry to get to Illinois.
