Fred, I have a 25 inch American Tourister roller bag that I used for Americade. It was perfect for a 3-4 day trip and it fit very nicely in the passenger seat behind me. The problem with it is that it isn't waterproof so I have to wrap it in a tarp. In that I'll be leaving Elkins and heading to Illinois for a few weeks, I needed more carrying capacity. I'll be bringing both the American Tourister and the new waterproof duffel with me on this trip. To answer your question, the new duffel is the 'regular' sized, 24x12x12. I bought it to use in combination with the American Tourister. I didn't feel that the 30x14x14 was big enough to carry everything I needed to Illinois by itself and I thought that the 36x16x16 was getting too bulky to carry on the bike. I think that the 24x12x12 is a very good sized weekender.

Oh, and Dawn, I got the green one.
