Yeah Andy, garbage bags were a trick I learned in the Marines. You and I do things a little differently though; the only clothes I carry in my saddlebags, is my leather jacket and my rain suit. My saddlebags are filled with what I think is important things for a long trip; maps, tools, cleaning gear, flat-fixing gear (including a compressor), snacks, water, and all the 25 doses of medications and accoutrements I take on a daily basis. My trunk is generally filled with the full face helmet I carry along for inclement weather and my small ice chest to keep my insulin cool.
