First stop was at Blackwater Falls State Park. There are 214 steps down to the Falls. A view of the Falls is well worth the climb back up and helped us work off breakfast.

Last stop was climbing up to the top of Snowshoe, the South's largest ski resort. It is up about 5000 feet and is fun to get there with a few switchbacks in the road. It is also cool on top which was most welcome on a warm summer day.

The fun continues tomorrow.
