Bud,

Despite my reputation I am like you, just ride with the flow of traffic or a few mph over the speed limit and always slow down when I come into town, or particularly into a neighborhood where children can be playing. I have gotten traffic violations in the past, but none of them were for speeding. Having said that, this particular radar unit looked excellent for someone like Rudy who has a lead foot, basically because it picks up so many types of radar, detects them early and by having a colored-light stalk next to a person's eye, actually in their peripheral vision, delivers the message to slow down immediately so that by the time the rider sees the radar trap he/she is riding at or below the speed limit. Even if it is a product I do not feel I need I appreciate the effectiveness of its built-in technology.
