I'm also interested in a CV shield. Not to hijack the thread, but to also ask for additional info: What about height? Do most people like the stock size, or taller to look through instead of over?

ME,

The best height is 3" to 4" below eye level, which is probably even with your upper lip and/or just above your chin.  At that height you can see over the windshield if raindrops or fog obscure your vision throught the shield, yet the main airstream still goes over the top of your head/helmet with little or no buffeting/noise.

I have actually put a bubble balance on a yardstick and put one end of the yardstick on top of my windshield and the other end against my face to see where my windshield lined-up.  Then when riding at cruising speed I use my left hand to follow the windstream from the windshield back to my helmet to find out how much goes over the top and how much smashes into my helmet.  With a +3.5" Clearview on my T all of the airstream was going over my helmet with not excess noise or buffeting, yet I could see over the top of the windshield with no problem.  For reference, I am 6' 1" tall with a 34" inseam.
