I forgot to post but I did check my pad's packaging as well and they didn't have any useful markings for this question.  I can say that every time I have installed new factory pads they "sing".  I associate this with every other semi-metallic/sintered pad I have ever used.  They do appear to have many flecks of metal in the binder also leading me to beleve they are sintered.

Why is it that they don't make ceramic pads for bikes?  I have used them exclusively on my cars for the last few years (even when they came with Semi-metallics) and I like them much better than semi-metallics.  The ceramics, don't sing (nor do they tend to squeak at the end of a stop), dust less, last longer, stop equivalently, and are spec'd on many new cars.
