Sounds like you still need a new battery, but some have reported that changing to the Iridium spark plugs help with starting, even to the point of not needing the chock.

I had the Jr, used it on my T for 2 months till it told me I had a battery fault and wouldn't let me charge it. That was 2 years ago. I did get the battery to charge using my regular car charger, which allowed me to continue riding. Early last year I bought the CTEK 3300 which also has a battery conditioner in it. This one worked on my old T battery and charges fine. My bike would run for about a month of daily driving before I needed to change the battery, same simptums as yours, then I would need to place it on the charger. I was just waiting for the start of the riding year, didn't want to buy a new battery and then put the bike in storage.

I have my battery for the Valk, and it is "almost" the same size of the top section of the T battery. I need to see if it will fit in the T (maybe I'll try today). I don't recall what the T battery rating is, but the Valk battery is 220AH, I think ours was closer to 180AH. I feel that the prices on the Valk battery are also a little cheaper, as there are more out there and being a simple square shape. Terminals are also on the correct sides.

1 final point, bought the LED battery charge indicator leads for the CTEK, red/yellow/green, and after charging my T battery for 24 hours (takes 1-2 hr to show fully charged), remove the charger, within 24 hrs the indicator goes from green to red. Battery is defiantly toast. I've actually stopped charging it now, since I will buy a new battery if the Valk's doesn't work.

note: Tried the Valk battery, and there just is no room to make it fit. Almost wide enough, but needs more hieght, and there is nothing to move to make it fit.
