Sorry Stan, but what Gary said was so over-the-top I found it hysterical.

hey Al let me add my congrats on your Americade report. Well done! It was a great week and I can't wait for next year. I really hope we can get Marc and
Becky, Jeff and Terri and Henri To come along . Then we'll have our little family group. Maybe I'll get around to a great T-Shirt design for the
occasion if we can make it happen. It was probably the best or second best Americade weather wise in my 17 year of going.
You pretty much covered everything. To other members My Girlfriend Joanna accompanied me this year. this was her first Americade and really got into the experience. She bought a woman' vest, gloves, both summer and cold weather and ( of course) jewelry. She already has a new jacket , helmet and boots. Joanna had never seen so many bikes and loved meeting the people from Canada and all parts of the eastern U.S. Despite touching down some hard parts on our lake ride and avoiding a near low side she handled it like a trooper. One thing I learned, My old Venture definitely needs a suspension redo. Hello Progressive springs.....! That alone will raise the old girl and inch or two. All in all it was a great time I'll try to get my pix up soon. |
