Anyway, I spent a lot of time and money and never got to show her off on forums while I could since I never had a camera, so I may as well show her off while I still can.

My Non-T ACE |

So I have to get rid of my Non-T because, well, it's not a T. And I need to travel. Far.

nefilim.....welcome to the forum. Very nice pictures of a beautifully customized Shadow ACE. You did a great job on her and showed her off with some very good
pictures.
I'm trying to understand from your statement if your selling the "Non-T" because your buying a Tourer or if your just selling the ACE because the bike does not accommodate your long distance travelling. You kind of left me hanging wondering your meaning. Good luck on whatever you decide to do.

Gorgeous! Welcome to the board, nefilim. No way would I sell this beautiful bike to buy a T. For traveling purposes, there's just not that much difference
between them. At least non that can't be remedied by a few catalogs.
But, if you must, then there are is lot of great stuff on this bike that will fit the T. The seat, engine guard, floorboards, front fender guard, and luggage rack are direct bolt on's to the T. Even the light bar can be adapted to fit. Something to consider before you sell. BTW, I couldn't get the link below your pics to work. Stan |

Oh, I'm not getting an ACE-T. I was dying to get some of those hard bags you guys have that fit my color scheme, but that's a pipe dream - and even
then an expensive pipe dream nonetheless.
I'm probably going to get a sport-touring like a VFR-800 or ST1300 since I am still in my early 20's and have to wait til my 55th birthday to get my Goldwing permit. Yes, blasphemy, I know, but at least they're Hondas. I reaaally don't want to sell it, but seeing as I'm still in college, it's either selling it or eating Ramen for another year. I feel more like I'm trying to find a good home for an old dog than selling a vehicle. |

I'm partial to the ST1300, myself. But, it's a tad too tall for my inseam and I opted for a Wing instead.
My friend has a really nice and like new CB919 for sale, if you're interested. He's in his 40's and it has been ridden and cared for with respect. Below is a picture of it. Stan

Is he in Athens too? I'm in Mobile. (So if any of you other Southerners know someone who is envious of your ACE...)
There a VFR-800 at the Honda dealer here for $5,500 that I'm probably going to get - 8000 miles and mint condition. If not that, then maybe a VTX 1300 T. |

Welcome to the board and as all have said...
Very nice bike.
I don't mind coming to work, but that eight hour wait to go home is a
bitch.
