I moved here to the desert when I retired from the Los Angeles area in 1993. The desert is a great place for bikes. Not a lot of traffic and lots of open space to explore. We get to ride all winter and ride very early in the summer. With temps up to 120 degrees the rides are shorter and earlier or we ride north to Utah and cooler places. Lake Havasu City has a population of about 50,000 and has more bikes per capita than anyplace I have ever been. Over 50 percent of the residents are retired so most of us riders are old farts that love bikes. I ride something or somwhere every day. Life is good. Take care and thanks for the welcome. John.

How about some pics of all those cool rides.
