Hmmm.... I've heard that before. So let me see – yep, here it is....
A man goes through life in this world with a smile – he DOESN'T get arrested.
A woman goes through life in this world with a smile -
~ she gets stalked, assaulted, raped, terrorized, beaten, abused, and faces any variety of murder attempts by the score – and her perpetrator(s) DON'T get arrested.
So, like most women who wish to be safe in this world, I go through life looking ENRAGED, AND -
~ carrying at least six bottles of pepper spray, AND
~ at least a dozen knives hidden in as many places as possible, AND
~ at least one each of at least six other different kinds of personal defense weapons, AND
~ wearing stab resistant bulletproof body armor at all times, including in the shower, AND
~ carrying a twin pair of fully automatic machine pistols mounted to and concealed in the body armor just above the hips on a rotating pivot, AND
~ carrying at least five other smaller self-defense handguns hidden elsewhere on my body, AND
~ carrying a pair of hand grenades tied together and booby trapping what every rapist is after because the rapist who gets through all of that to rape me is sure as fuck going to be having his last rape, one way or another – and I'll make sure that arrogant smile is wiped clean off his face.

I'm about ready to take a concealed weapons permit class and was just curious about the laws were you live and if you do carry what is your weapon of choice?.

No problem. The biggest problem I have had is finding the right holster. I went through $90-$120 worth of holster before I found the Comp-Tac. I do have a Fobus that is nice for quick carry and easy removal if I go somewhere I can't legaly carry - it's just not as concealable. I also prefer the Fobus for car travel, although I will probably get a shoulder holster some time in the future for easier car travel.I would recomend the Kahr and the S/W Sigma series. Light weight and good balance. I love my CW9, but it is less accurate than my Kimber .45. The Kimber is just too heavy.I know you don't want to turn this into a gun site, but most of the guys I ride with carry, and I dont think this discussion takes away from our bikes at all. I think it enhances the experience. We are an independant lot.Mike
